Kima
Fantasy/Adventure
In a medieval fantasy setting, a goblin named Kima grows up in an orphanage for wayward monsters where a human woman raises her on tales of knights and heroes. She is displaced when a mysterious party burns down the orphanage while she is out hunting without permission. With her surrogate mother and fellow monsters missing, she sets out to find them. But in order to become a hero, she needs to both prove herself, gather companions and resources and overcome prejudice. In this short film, Kima begins her adventuring career, looking for adventuring work at a seedy tavern with amusing results. This short film featuring puppets, miniatures, practical effects and fantasy adventure.
